Background of Client

Being one of the pioneers in the wifi-egg industry with 800 employees and operations all over the globe, uCloudlink would like to provide rental service of one of their flagship products, the GlocaMe G3 device, and a 4G empowered wifi-egg with coverage over 100 countries, in Hong Kong.

Problems Faced

  1. Without previous experience in the Hong Kong market, our client is not able to set up a team to deploy plan on setting up local repair service center available to provide service which can meet the demand for quick repair service by Hong Kong customers.
  2. Hiring teams over the border in Shenzhen is not possible because of the tariffs and export requirements with regards to electronic goods, limiting the possible locations for setting up a service center.
